Alumni Scholarship
It has long been the tradition of the Alumni Association membership to support student learning in the form of donations to annual scholarships. The 2013 Alumni Association Board combined existing predecessor school alumni scholarship funds into one fund. This comprehensive scholarship was approved at the Annual Business meeting at that time. In 2015, additional existing memorial gifts, whose funds did not reach the endowment minimum, were combined to strengthen the Alumni Association Scholarship for nursing and the health sciences students. Make your donation through the Trinity Health Foundation to the Alumni Association Scholarship and watch it grow.
To be eligible for the Alumni Association Scholarship award, a student must, at minimum:
- Be a first or second-year student at Trinity College of Nursing & Health Sciences; or be enrolling in advanced nursing or health sciences degree courses beyond the certificate, diploma, or associate/bachelor degree level depending on program type
- Have a declared major in nursing or health sciences
- Have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or more on a 4-point scale at the time of application if currently enrolled, or from a previous program of study
- Be current with alumni dues and remain current if the applicant is an alumnus completing an advanced degree
Awards will also be determined by past academic performance and the career and educational goals of the student. Applicants with demonstrated financial need will be given preference. Recipients will be selected by the Trinity College of Nursing & Health Sciences Scholarship Committee, which includes a representative from the Alumni Association.
