HEERF Grant Updates
The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act or, CARES Act, was passed by Congress and signed by President Donald Trump on March 27th, 2020. This bill allotted $2.2 trillion to provide fast and direct economic aid to the American people negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Of that money, approximately $14 billion was given to the Office of Postsecondary Education as the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund, or HEERF.
Trinity College of Nursing & Health Sciences has been awarded $127,554 in HEERF I Funding. $63,777 allocated as direct grants to students and $63,777 allocated to the institution to offset costs associated with the disruption of campus operations due to COVID-19.
Trinity College of Nursing & Health Sciences was also awarded $372,446 in funding for the Improvement of Postsecondary Educational (FIPSE) Grant.
Trinity College of Nursing & Health Sciences received additional funding under HEERF II totaling $251,781. $63,777 allocated as direct grants to students and $188,004 allocated to the institution to offset costs associated with the disruption of campus operations due to COVID-19.
Trinity College of Nursing & Health Sciences received supplementary funding under HEERF III totaling $458,500. $233,812 allocated as direct grants to students and $224,688 allocated to the institution to offset costs associated with the disruption of campus operations due to COVID-19.
